Premium passengers with Delta are being offered free use of a Yotel room on arrival at Heathrow’s Terminal 4, with facilities which include a shower, bed, flat-screen TV and wifi access.

The airline believes it will prove particularly popular with passengers who want to freshen-up after an overnight transatlantic flight. But it faces stiff competition from other airlines, such as British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, which have invested heavily in arrivals facilities at Heathrow.

Use of the cabin is available to Delta passengers .as well as those booking with joint venture partners Air France and KLM, travelling in Business Elite on Delta-operated flights from Atlanta, New York, Minneapolis and Detroit.

Diamond and Platinum Skymiles Medallion members, and Flying Blue elite members are also eligible for the service.

Armin Venencie, Delta’s regional sales director for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, says: “Our premium travellers expect the convenience of an arrivals facility after a long-haul flight. Our partnership with Yotel offers passengers a convenient, private and comfortable space to change before an important meeting, or freshen up before getting on the road.”

Now Gulf Air customers can stretch their money further by saving on train tickets, which are usually expensive in Europe. As we keep rolling out more products and services, our ultimate aim is to offer the best value-for-money to our customers without compromising on the quality of our service.”
