Hilton Worldwide have announced that their new hotel at Heathrow is to open this August.Three years after the announcement was made, the hotel chain is set to open its Terminal 5 property on 31 August this year.

The site will be one mile from the terminal on Poyle Road. The 350 room hotel will be set in 13 acres of landscaped gardens and will also include three restaurants and a spa. The conferencing facilities will be based on the ground floor and can hold up to 1170 delegates in a theatre-style facility that can also be divided up into smaller meeting rooms.
General Manager Greg Place said: ‘This is a hugely exciting time for us to be opening the Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. Hilton opened the world’s first airport hotel in 1959 and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience the fantastic facilities this latest addition has to offer.’
