Photographer Dennis gets ‘key’ to Heathrow

Congratulations to our old friend Dennis Stone on receiving the ‘key’ to Heathrow after a lifetime of photography at the airport.
We’ve worked alongside him for many years and he represents a great tradition of gentler news photography, where politeness and relationships are the name of the game.
He’s been on first name terms with many of the celebrities of the age and was a familiar face for royalty and politicians as they pass through the airport.
At the age of 78 we wish him well and here’s a shot of him in classic role – kissing Elizabeth Taylor.
